KLN College of Information Technology

KLN College of Information Technology is the first co-educational Engineering College of Information Technology in Madurai started in 2001 by the munificence of philanthropists and well wishers in Sourashtra Community which is linguistic minority in Tamil Nadu. This college is sponsored by a committee of eminent Industrialists, and academicians led by the Industrialists and enthusiastic educationalist Thiru. K.L.N. Krishnan. The College is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi and is affiliated to Anna University, Chennai.

Location and Infrastructure

K.L.N. College of Information Technology is situated on the eastern outskirts of Madurai, 12K.m. on the Madurai - Nedungulam Road. The college is adjacent to the well established K.L.N. College of Engineering. The sprawling I.T. Complex has two multi-storied library with video facilities, air-conditioned computer laboratories, housing modern versions of computer systems connected under network with multimedia and scanners. There are adequate number of laboratories for various disciplines, engineering drawing hall, staff and students room, canteen, etc.

This department plays a vital role for the job placement services, implant training of previous year students and the final year projects for all the Engineering, M.B.A., and M.C.A. courses under various Government organisations and corporate bodies. Different corporate bodies have recruited our final year B.E., M.B.A., & M.C.A. students during this academic year. Personality Development programmes are being undertaken for the benefit of the students.
