Jon Rothstein joined the MSG Network in 2007 as the network’s NBA and NCAA college basketball “insider”. Rothstein can be seen during the basketball season as co-host of “Aéropostale College Basketball Weekly” and co-host of the New York Knicks pre-game show along side Al Trautwig. Rothstein is also a frequent guest on MSG’s nightly sports and entertainment program “MSG, NY” where he discusses the NBA and college basketball. In addition, Rothstein is an avid contributor to [http://www.MSG.com MSG.com] where you can find him reporting on the NBA and college basketball.

In addition to his role on MSG, Rothstein can also be heard as a fill-in host on 1050 ESPN Radio as well as serving as 1050’s college basketball insider. During the season, Rothstein is a regular contributor to the “Michael Kay Show”, 1050’s afternoon drive program. Also, he can be seen voicing his opinions as a weekly contributor on CN8’s “Out of Bounds”.

In 2007 and 2008, the National Football League hired Rothstein to serve as an analyst at the NFL Draft. Rothstein also covered the NBA Draft for the YES Network in 2003 and 2004.

In 2004, Rothstein was the winner of the initial “Dream Job” competition on 1050 ESPN Radio in New York City.

Rothstein once admitted on air that he watches part of Rocky II, Rocky III, or Rocky IV, before each show.

Rothstein is a graduate of Ithaca College, where in 2007, he was recognized as a distinguished young alumnus in sports. He currently resides in Manhattan.
