Kiryat Menachem

Kiryat Menachem (Hebrew: קרית מנחם) is a neighborhood in southwest Jerusalem, Israel, bordering Kiryat Hayovel. Kiryat Menachem was founded in 1956 to provide housing for the masses of new immigrants who arrived after the establishment of the State of Israel. The neighborhood is named for American Zionist leader Max (Menachem) Bressler. [http://bapresley.com/presley/vol9no4/] It is located on the road to Hadassah Hospital, Ein Karem.
