Thirukoshtiyur

Thirukoshtiyur is a place located near Tirupathur (on Pudukotai-Madurai road) on the way to Sivaganga, Tamil Nadu. It is 9km away from Thirupathur.

This place has an importance among Vaishnavites. There is a big temple here which is one of the 108 divya desams(holy shrines). It comes under paandya naatu thiruthalangal (region once ruled by pandyas). The temple has a big tank (pushkarini) in front of it.
