Bio-MEMS

Bio-MEMS

A Bio-MEMS is a special class of microelectromechanical system (MEMS) where biological matter is manipulated to analysis and measurement its activity under any class of scientific study. This class of devices belongs to one of the most exciting areas of development based on microtechnology. Any of the most important applications based in Bio-MEMS are: biological and biomedical analysis and measurements, micro total analysis systems (TAS).
