Ferar Cluj was a football club based in Cluj-Napoca, Cluj County, Romania. It was founded in 1918 and dissolved in 1948.

History

Until 1936 the club plays in the Romanian regional championship, after which it promotes to the Divizia B. It spends here 2 seasons, until 1938, when it relegates.

During WW II the club plays in the Hungarian National Championship and succeeds to finish 3rd in the 1943-44 season. Players used: Márki - Vass, Pál - Balint, Reinhardt, Szaniszló II - Fábián I, I. Kovács, L. Bonyhádi, Fülȍp, Incze II. In 1945 Ferar changes its name to Ferar KMSE, having in its mists a number of valuable players: Márki, Szoboszlay, Vass, Demeter, Szaniszló II, Fülöp, I. Petschovsky, Mészáros, Kovács V, Kovács IV, Pál, Reinhardt, Fábián I, L. Bonyhádi, Blejan.

At the first posbelic season, 1946-47, under the name of Ferar, a number of players are added: Boldizsár, Farmati, Bȍrzsey, Fuzer, Váczi, Fernbach.

In 1948 the club merges with CFR Cluj and disappears from all records.
