Jesse Klaver

Jesse Feras Klaver (born May 1, 1986 in Roosendaal) is a Dutch politician. As a member of GreenLeft (GroenLinks) he has been an MP since June 17, 2010. He focuses on matters of social affairs, employment, education and sports.

Klaver was chairman of GreenLeft's youth organisation DWARS as well as the youth organisation of the National Federation of Christian Trade Unions in the Netherlands (CNV).

Klaver is partly from Moroccan and Indonesian descent and studied social work at Avans Hogeschool in 's-Hertogenbosch.
