Madurai-North taluk is a taluk of Madurai district of the Indian state of Tamil Nadu.

Population

According to the 2001 census, the taluk of Madurai-North had a population of 348,925 with 177,120 males and 171,805 females. There were 970 women for every 1000 men. The taluk had a literacy rate of 79.82. The total number of households was 81,266.
