Marshall Bay

Marshall Bay (60°39′S 45°38′W / 60.65°S 45.633°W / -60.65; -45.633) is a bay 2 nautical miles (3.7 km) wide, lying between Capes Vik and Hansen on the south side of Coronation Island, in the South Orkney Islands. Roughly charted in 1912-13 by Petter Sorlle, Norwegian whaling captain. Recharted in 1933 by DI personnel on the Discovery II, who gave the name for Dr. E.H. Marshall, surgeon and member of the Marine Executive Staff of the Discovery Committee.
