The University of Colorado System is a system of public universities in Colorado consisting of three campuses: University of Colorado at Boulder, University of Colorado at Colorado Springs, and University of Colorado Denver.It is governed by an elected, nine-member Regents of the University of Colorado.

Campuses

*University of Colorado at Boulder (CU-Boulder, UCB officially; Colorado and CU colloquially) is the flagship university of the University of Colorado System in Boulder, Colorado. Founded in 1876, the comprehensive research university has more than 29,000 undergraduate and graduate students. It offers more than 2,500 courses in more than 150 areas of study through its nine colleges and schools.
*University of Colorado at Colorado Springs (formerly CU-Springs; UCCS) UCCS is a regional university with an undergraduate and graduate student population of about 7,500 students. It offers 25 bachelor's, 17 master's, and two doctoral degree programs through its six colleges.
*University of Colorado Denver (UC-Denver) The University of Colorado Denver has two locations; one in downtown Denver, and the other at the Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora. The two campuses combined enroll more than 28,000 students and offer more than 100 study programs in 12 schools and colleges.
