Tracey Challenor

Tracey Challenor

Tracey Challenor was a newsreader for "Seven News" in Brisbane. Challenor graduated from the University of Queensland with a degree in journalism, moving onto work as a journalist for The Redland Times and Bayside Bulletin. In 1991, Tracey began work at Seven News, covering a variety of reporting rounds and presenting the weekend 6pm bulletin for 12 years. In November 2006, it was announced that the Nine Network's Today Show newsreader Sharyn Ghidella will replace Challenor as the weekend newsreader of the 6pm news in Brisbane. Tracey was then offered the job of Senior Reporter by the Network, but declined the offer and has resigned from the Network. She finished on Seven in February 2007.
