Dwayne Bruce (May 14, 1960) is a professional wrestler, better known by his ring name, Sgt. Buddy Lee Parker. Bruce was a trainer at the WCW Power Plant wrestling school.

Professional wrestling career

As Sergeant Buddy Lee Parker, Dwayne Bruce wrestled in World Championship Wrestling (WCW) with tag partner Lieutenant James Earl Wright as The State Patrol.[2] He became a member of the Dungeon of Doom under the short-lived identity Braun The Leprechaun[1] before being repackaged as "Military Man" Jack Boot.[3] Boot only lasted a short time before Buddy Lee Parker returned, this time as a Military Sergeant. Bruce's final wrestling persona was simply The Sarge, and after this, he became a trainer at the official WCW wrestling school, the Power Plant.[1] He would occasionally pop up on WCW Saturday Night as a jobber during his lesser famed career, and WCW commentators would credit him multiple times for training the highly popular Bill Goldberg. Towards the end of WCW, Bruce was involved in a somewhat major storyline where he teamed up with Goldberg to wrestle against Lex Luger and Buff Bagwell.

Bruce also made an appearance on Louis Theroux's Weird Weekends. When Theroux asked him about the use of storylines in wrestling, Bruce felt this was disrespectful, and forced Theroux to exercise until he was physically sick.

In the book Batista Unleashed, WWE Superstar Batista says he went for an open trial at WCW's Powerplant, where Bruce drilled him and a friend into the ground, causing them to throw up viciously. Despite that, Bruce reportedly demanded that the pair continue.
