Sabatini Gardens

Sabatini Gardens

The Sabatini Gardens (Jardines de Sabatini) are part of the Royal Palace in Madrid, Spain, and were open to the public by King Juan Carlos I in 1978.They honour the name of Francesco Sabatini (1722–1797), an Italian architect of the 18th century who did a great deal of works in the Royal Palace. The gardens were built in 1933, in the exact location of the royal stables of the palace, which were designed by Sabatini.

The gardens are a tranquil and beautiful place, adorned with a pool, statues and fountains, with bushes and trees disposed in a symmetrical geometric shape.
