Roman Berezovsky (Armenian: Ռոման Բերեզովսկի, Russian: Березовский Роман Анатольевич, born on August 5, 1974 in Yerevan, Armenia SSR is an Armenian football goalkeeper, the current captain of the Russian Premier League club FC Khimki and a member of Armenia national team. He participated in 53 international matches since his debut in home 1998 World Cup qualification match against Portugal on August 31, 1996. Roman was also voted Russia's best goalkeeper in the late 1990s and is considered as the best Armenian goalkeeper ever. His stable performances in Armenia national team made him fans' favorite.
