The Priest's Grotto is a
cave in westernUkraine , part of the extensive Gypsum Giant cave system, now known to be among the longest in the world at over 77 miles explored. In1942 -1944 , during the Nazi occupation, severalJewish families lived in the cave, some of them never exiting for over an entire year.
