Avalon, Missouri

Avalon is an unincorporated community in southern Livingston County, Missouri, United States. It is located on Missouri Supplemental Route H about one mile east of U.S. Route 65 and ten miles south of Chillicothe. The community was founded in 1845 and is named after the mythic Isle of Avalon of Britain, prominent in the King Arthur legends.
