nihongo|Happy End|はっぴいえんど was a Japanese folk rock band, which existed between 1970 and 1973. The bands pioneering avant-garde sound is highly revered, and they are considered to be one of the most influential bands in Japanese music. [http://www.hmv.co.jp/news/newsDetail.asp?newsnum=311040087] The band was formed by Haruomi Hosono, and Takashi Matsumoto. When Happy End disband, Hosono went on to form the Yellow Magic Orchestra, while Matsumoto became a successful lyricist, and Suzuki and Ohtaki continued their careers as guitarists. In 2003, their song "Kaze Wo Atsumete" appeared on the "Lost In Translation" movie soundtrack.
