Brus (Брус) is a town and municipality located in the Rasina District of Serbia. In 2002, the population of the town was 4,653, while population of the municipality was 18,764. It is located on 430m above sea level, just below mountain ski center Kopaonik.It's also a place where one of the greatest serbian music producers Marko Maksimovic, was born.Also a known system administrator Nebojsa Matic came from this town.City is surrounded by hills on 3 levels, where the lowest one is a place where the Grasevka river firths into the Rasina river.On the upper level of the town a fountain of medicinal mineral water is located.
