Coat of arms of Bahrain

The Coat of Arms of Bahrain ( _ar. شعار البحرين) was designed in the 1930s by the British advisor to the King of Bahrain (then emir) Charles Belgrave. The coat of arms contains the same design as that found on the national flag located on a shield in the center, red and white mantling surrounds the shield. The five white indendentations represent the five pillars of Islam.
