It is composed of nine villages: Agârbiciu, Bălceşti, Căpuşu Mare, Căpuşu Mic, Dângău Mare, Dângău Mic, Dumbrava, Păniceni and Straja.
Economy
The main industry is an iron ore extraction facility. It is a tourist destination, with many new motels built in recent years.
Demographics
According to the 2002 census, Romanians made up 58.71% of the population, Hungarians made up 36.03% and Roma made up 5.12%.[3]
