Audrey Cohen

Educator Audrey Cohen founded the Women's Talent Corps in 1964, located at 75 Varick Street in Tribeca. Later, the Talent Corps became The College for Human Services, which in turn became Audrey Cohen College, which in 2002 (six years after Cohen's death in 1996) was renamed Metropolitan College of New York ( [http://query.nytimes.com/gst/fullpage.html?res=9B06E5D81E3BF93AA35753C1A9649C8B63] ).

Audrey Cohen, in collaboration with educator Janith Jordan, developed an educational system known as Purpose-Centered Education.
