WMUV is a commercial radio station located in Brunswick, Georgia, broadcasting to the Jacksonville, Florida area on 100.7 FM. WMUV airs a rhythmic adult contemporary music format branded as "MOViN 100.7".

History

WMUV, whose frequency is licensed to Brunswick, Georgia, began targeting the Jacksonville area in 1965 as WIOI-FM 100.7, in the late 1991 as WOKV-FM. Since then they have embraced Contemporary Christian as WBYB (1993-95), Classic rock as both WWRD (1995-96) and WWRR "Arrow 100.7" (1996-2005), and Oldies as WKQL "Kool 100.7" (2005-06). A similar situation occurred in Dallas, Texas where KEGL-FM was an oldies station from 2004 to 2005 before changing to a regional Mexican format. On October 20, 2006 WKQL became the eighth station in the United States to adopt the Rhythmic Hot AC MOViN' format.
