Ken Rosenthal

Ken Rosenthal

Kenneth H. Rosenthal (born 19 September 1962) is an American sportswriter.

Rosenthal has served as lead field reporter for "Major League Baseball on FOX" since 2005. He began his career with The "Baltimore Sun", where he was named Maryland Sportswriter of the Year five times by the National Sportscasters and Sportswriters Association. He joined "The Sporting News", where he served as a national baseball writer through 2005.

Some of the breaking stories credited to Ken Rosenthal include the Nomar Garciaparra trade; the Joe Girardi firing from the Florida Marlins; the Miguel Tejada proposed trade to the Los Angeles Angels; and the Florida Marlins' trade of Dontrelle Willis and Miguel Cabrera to the Detroit Tigers. He is a voting member of the Baseball Hall of Fame.
