Farrukh Amonatov (born April 13, 1978) is the first and only chess grandmaster (35th Chess Olympiad, Bled 2002) in Tajikistan. He is also the winner of many international tournaments. Despite living and training in Moscow, Russia since (champion of Moscow 2003), Farrukh Amonatov still represents Tajikistan in international tournaments.

In 2007 Amonatov qualified for the Superfinal of Russian Chess Championship and finished tenth.
