association football team founded in2005 following the merger between two clubs, Neath (formerly BP Llandarcy) and Skewen Athletic. The team is based inNeath and played in theWelsh Football League First Division during the season 2006-07. On 3rd May 2007, Neath Athletic were crowned champions and subsequently it was confirmed that the club had been promoted to theWelsh Premier League for the 2007-08 season.The President of the club is
