Vinny Arkins (born 18 September 1970 in Dublin) is a retired Irish footballer.

He made his League debut for Shamrock Rovers against Bohemians on the 15th of October 1989 in a 3-1 win. Went on to score 35 goals in 86 appearances before signing for St Johnstone in November 1991. He won the Player of the Year award in his first season as well as sharing the PFAI Young Player of the Year award [http://www.rsssf.com/miscellaneous/ierpoy.html] and was top club goalscorer that season and in 1990/91. Also was the first player to score at Rovers rented ground Royal Dublin Society on the 14th of October 1990.

A tall, skilful striker and prolific goalscorer with 248 goals in all competitions during his 9-year spell with Portadown. He was an Irish League winner with Portadown in 2001/02. He was the top score in the Irish League on five occasions [http://www.rsssf.com/tablesn/niltops.html] .

His other former clubs include Home Farm, Dundee United, St Johnstone, and Notts County.
