Egyhazaskozar is a lovely small village close to the Mecsek Mountains in southern Hungary. It was originally a German village. Many of the old people still speak good German and are friendly and very helpful. It's only convert|2|mi|km away from Bikal, a village with a luxury hotel and spa, and convert|5|mi|km from Szasvar, a wine village on the foot of Mecsek Mountains.

The village is a good central place for tourists to spend the holidays. There is countryside, mountains, woods, lakes, spas, horseback riding, cycling, walking, and other nature-related activities. A small supermarket, a few cafes, old churches and there are many nice restaurants in the area. The ancient city of Pécs is only 30 minutes away. Lake Balaton is 40 minutes away and the Danube is close by. The village has a few holiday houses from where people can explore the country.
