"John Dough and the Cherub" is a children's fantasy novel written by L. Frank Baum, illustrated by John R. Neill, and published in 1906 by the Reilly & Britton Company. The 1974 Dover Publications edition featured an introduction by Martin Gardner.

While not published as an Oz novel, the novel takes place in lands on the Oz map, and the title characters have a cameo appearance in the later novel, "The Road to Oz" (1909).

The novel has been filmed twice, both under the direction of Otis Turner, first as a 40-minute segment of "The Fairylogue and Radio-Plays" (1908), then again as a ten-minute short in 1910. Both of these films are lost.
