Samantha Marie Sprackling (born 3 June, 1968, Ibadan, Nigeria) more commonly known as Saffron, was the lead singer of the electronica band, Republica. Following the break up of Republica, she worked with The Cure, appearing on the track "Just Say Yes"; having previously been the featured vocalist on N-Joi's 1990 single "Anthem"; The Prodigy's "Fuel My Fire" (from their 1997 album "The Fat of the Land"); Deepsky's "Smile" (from the 2002 album "In Silico"); and Junkie XL's songs "Crusher", "Spirits", and "Beauty Never Fades" (from his 2003 album "").

She is currently working in a new band, Swarm.
