Trawden is a medium sized but rapidly expanding village in Trawden Forest Parish of Pendle, Lancashire, England, situated at the foot of Boulsworth Hill. Agriculture was the main industry of the village and surrounding area, although it did have several mills. Most of these have now been demolished for, or converted to housing. It holds an annual garden festival and scarecrow [ [http://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/photos/pendle/trawdengardenfestival/ Lancashire Telegraph Photos of the Trawden Garden Festival] ] competition at the end of July and an agricultural show in August. Trawden F.C. were champions of the Pendle Charity League Second Division in the 2006/07 season. At the fans' request an open-top bus parade was organised in June 2007, and it was estimated that over a thousand spectators turned out to see the team in all its glory.
