The Canary Big-Eared Bat ("Plecotus teneriffae") is a species of vesper bat in the Vespertilionidae family.It can be found in the following countries: Algeria, Libyan Arab Jamahiriya, Morocco, Spain, and Tunisia.It is found in these habitats: temperate forests, subtropical or tropical dry shrubland, Mediterranean-type shrubby vegetation, temperate grassland, rocky areas, caves, subterranean habitats (other than caves), and pastureland.It is threatened by habitat loss.
