Škrlatica is a mountain in Slovenian Julian Alps. Its summit is at 2,740 m above sea level, and it is the second highest peak in Slovenia (after Triglav) and third highest in Julian Alps (after Triglav at 2,864m and Montaž at 2,754 m). The mountain has been named after its apparently purple-colored rock walls seen in the morning and evening sunlight.
