- W. G. Godfrey
William G. Godfrey (born 1941) is a Canadian historian that specializes in the history of the Maritime Provinces. He received his BA and MA degrees from the
University of Waterloo and hisPh.D. fromQueen's University . Until recently he was department chair at Canada's most prestigious undergraduate institution,Mount Allison University . In 2007 Dr. Godfrey was granted the title of Professor Emeritus at Mount Allison University. Godfrey is now retired.Publications
