Alavi is a new planned city built 40 km from Bandar Abbas in Hormozgan Province, Iran.It is 15 km from basic industries and port facilities. The town has been designed for gathering and planning to meet settlement needs of oil. Steel and aluminum are produced here. The city also holds a shipyard known as the Shahid Rajaie Port Facility.
