Dolní Bečva

Dolní Bečva is a village in Vsetín District, Zlín Region, Czech Republic. It has a population of 1,828 (2006). Located between Rožnov pod Radhoštěm and Prostřední Bečva, the village is nestled in a valley of the Beskydy Mountains. Dolni means "lower" in Czech, and the Bečva is a river that snakes through the village. Dolní Bečva is a popular tourist destination thanks to Pustevny, a mountain on which is located a ski resort, Radegast sculpture, and a church dedicated to Saints Cyril and Methodius.
