Aerocaribe was originally founded in 1972 as
Aerolineas Bonanza , then in 1975 and started operations on12 July 1975 under the name Aerocaribe. It was formed byYucatán private investors, but was bought by Corporacion Mexicana de Aviación on23 August 1990 . In1996 Mexicana became part of the Cintra group. Its affiliate Aerocozumel has been integrated. Mexicana decided to transfer its fleet ofFokker F100 aircraft to Aerocaribe to rebrand the airline. Its new name isClick Mexicana and it is an attempt to create a Mexicanlow-cost carrier , starting operations in July2005 .Services
