Elite One Championship V is the official name for the 2007/2008 Elite One Championship season in the sport of rugby league.

The season commenced on 6th October 2007. Like last season, there are 11 teams with one team missing a round each week. A total of 22 rounds were played, with the last finishing on the 12th April 2008 before the play-offs, that determine who will play in the Grand Final.

Albi Tigers are the league's new club having been promoted from the Elite Two Championship. Pia Donkeys were the defending champions having beaten Lezignan Sangliers in the 2006/2007 season Grand Final.

In the first week of the Play-Offs, Saint Gaudens Bears and UTC both easily beat Toulouse and Albi Tigers respectively. However both team were beaten, Saint Gaudens Bears by third placed Carcassonne, and UTC were beaten by Limoux Grizzlies. Pia Donkeys beat Carcassonne in the next round, and a day later Lezignan Sangliers, the league leaders, squeezed past Limoux Grizzlies. In the Grand Final held in Beziers, Lezignan Sangliers failed to do what they did the previous season and beat Pia Donkeys 26-16, and thus winning the title for the first time.
