Theoroi

Theoroi

Theoroi (Greek: polytonic|θεωροὶ or polytonic|θεαροὶ) in Ancient Greece were sacred ambassadors,messengers sent out by the state which was about to organize a Panhellenic Game or Festival. Theoroi were received and hosted by Theorodokoi.
