Barkuhi

Barkuhi is a small township in Chhindwara District in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh.

Location

Situated on the banks of Pench River, it lies midway between Junnardeo and Pasrasia, about 35 km north-west of Chhindwara. The nearest railway station is Eklehra (1.5km) and Parasia (5km). The nearest airport Nagpur is 125 km to south-east of Barkuhi. Barkuhi population 18000.

It is a very beautiful place and main hub for Western Coal Feilds. People their are simple and peace loving. They follow various tribal culture and believe in their own culture and values.
