Israel , located on the side of theHaifa -Nazareth road about convert|4|km|mi eastern toKiryat Tivon . It was declared a local council in 1958. According to theIsrael Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS), it had a population of 5,700 in 2006, with a growth rate of 1.8%. The majority of the citizens of the village areJew ish.History
Ramat Yishai was established in 1925 on the lands of the village
Jadda , which were bought by theAmerican Zion Commonwealth in the twenty's. Among the establishers of the village were 50 families fromLodz andBiałystok whom established a textile factory in the village. In the 1950s families fromChina joined the village.One of the most known buildings in the village is called "the Khan", an old building with surrounding walls which was built in the Ottoman era. The logo of the village consists of this building with the palm tree next to it.
